The standard Z axis stroke specification is increased by about 40% from 550 mm to 800 mm.
It can handle workpieces with shafts of up to 720 mm and provides a wide range of
machining capacities. The hydraulically driven rear end on the standard machine has been
replaced by a servo-driven type, controlled by changing the cutting programme, resulting in
the ability to process different types of workpieces with a significant reduction in cycle times.
To achieve improved machinability when changing the clamping head or workpiece
compared to the standard model, the length from the front door to the centre of the spindle
is reduced from 510 mm to 450 mm.
